Introduction

Context: International Clip is a company founded in 1982, specialized in the production of industrial clippers for the food sector. Over the years, it has distinguished itself through its international network (over 90 countries) and its customer focus (after-sales support, supply of consumables). Despite its reliability and experience, the brand and website had become outdated.
Goal: to communicate more incisively an image of excellence and innovation, in line with the company’s values and the quality of its products.
Challenges: to renew the brand, preserving its heritage (rampant lion) while giving it a more modern look consistent with the company’s professionalism. To redesign the website, improving usability and accessibility for an international audience, emphasizing the “made in Italy” philosophy and technological innovation. To convey continuity with the company’s history, yet update the style to appear “fresh” and competitive in the global landscape.

Brand design process

1. Analysis of the Old Logotype and Website: identification of key elements to preserve (lion, palette) and those to renew.
2. Moodboard and Competitor Analysis: visual research and comparison with the three main competitors.
3. User Involvement (forms and focus groups): several logotype proposals submitted to stakeholders, resellers, and customers; selection of the most appreciated version, with final tweaks to maximize recognizability and stylistic balance.
4. Color Definition: revisiting the historical tones and introducing an accent color.
5. Brochure and Materials: created with InDesign, useful for international trade fairs and sales.

UxUi Design process

1. Analysis of the Previous Website: identified gaps (lack of a document area, unappealing presentation of the machinery).
2. Wireframes and Flowcharts: created with Miro and Figma, defining specific user flows (sales staff, technicians, resellers) with a focus on mobile usage (80% of visits).
3. Focus Groups: preliminary tests with real and internal users to evaluate the structure, usability, and consistency with the new brand.
4. Stylistic Moodboard: selection of graphic solutions consistent with the brand.
5. Development and Launch: carried out by Firewall Srl, with final debugging and integration of monitoring tools.

Results achieved

1. Brand perceived as more reliable and technologically advanced: the modern style of the logo and the vibrant palette have received positive reactions from resellers and international partners.
2. Simplified Navigation and Mobile-First: the new architecture, combined with a dedicated document area, has improved access to technical and commercial information.
3. User Satisfaction: feedback collected through the focus groups indicates strong appreciation for the coherence, communicative clarity, and user-centered design.
